BELLA BEADS gives back

 

BELLA BEADS is our outreach program to help local and national animal shelters or animal organizations that need financial support and/ or awareness.

A portion of all sales for the month of July will be donated to Austin Pets Alive to help our furry friends in Texas due to the tragic and devastating floods in Kerr County.

The backstory...through the dark we try to find the light. And through the heaviness and heartache of going through a loss, we look for hope and a greater good or purpose.

And this was how BULL + STAR and BELLA BEADS became.

B+S was born as an outlet of meditation through creation as I experienced the loss of our lil girl, Bella. After her passing, I donated a portion of sales from the BELLA BEADS bracelet I made in her honor to the Veterinary Emergency Group. And ever since, to keep her spirit alive, BULL + STAR has donated to animal shelters or organizations in need.

We have helped out: 

Animal Charity of Ohio (My home state. Train that derailed in East Palestine)

Anti-Cruelty Society (A Chicago animal shelter)

Asheville Humane Society (My home state of 9 yrs. Hurricane Helene)

Austin Pets Alive (My sister Claire and her family call Texas home. Kerr County floods)

PAWS Chicago (when I ran my 4th marathon and raised $ through Team PAWS)

Pasadena Humane (My home state for 5 yrs. LA fires)

VETERINARY EMERGENCY GROUP (they helped us at 3:00am w Bella)

WINGS of RESCUE (simply impressed with their style, we need more of these groups)

Veterinary Emergency Group is where this all began fall of 2022. Every November- December we donate 10% of sales from BELLA BEADS to the V.E.G. It's the perfect season to give a gift and help a fur friend! BTW, every pet owner should have this number in their phone and know where the closest location of the V.E.G. is to them.
