BE BOLD. SHINE BRIGHT.

Story 1:

What exactly does this mean? Well, let's rewind on my life. There were so many big plunges I took because I always had the mindset, I'll figure it out, I can do this. The first big plunge was when I moved from Ohio to California shortly after my college graduation. My sister was living out there at the time which helped, but it was for sure risky...no job, no home (well I did live with her for a bit), not much money, but I figured it out over time.

And then after a year of living in Orange County, Cali trying to pursue careers in the business world (with my double major and minor from Ohio University), I said yea I don't think this is for me. So. I quite and became a personal trainer for a large gym in Irvine called 24 Hour Fitness. lol my mom was thrilled since she paid for 4 years of a degree. Now, she couldn't be more proud of my fitness accomplishments like appearing on FOX News and contributing to Pilates Style magazine.

So let's fast forward 5 or so years in that Cali era where I took another plunge, and moved to Charlotte NC! And over those 10 years I ultimately built up a very successful Pilates and Personal training business, which I sold to move to Chicago to be with my now husband.

These drastic decisions for sure are not for everyone, but wow do they feel empowering. And now I find myself plunging into the jewelry world after a 20+ career in health + fitness. You have to BE BOLD in life to some degree and take action so that you keep learning, growing, evolving. Big or small, you have to take steps...steps keep you moving forward. Don't ever think it's too late (I ran my 1st marathon at the age of 40). Don't ever think you've invested too much time and can't change your mind. The 20 years I invested in the fitness world taught me skills I am now using in the jewelry world. 

When you think about 2025, take a plunge into something new, exciting, fresh, different and BE BOLD when you do, because the follow-up is that you will SHINE BRIGHT!
